So far a few hiccups on the SAI 2.0. I found a large patch of rust on the barrel underneath the handguard when I received the rifle. I was expecting the receiver with forward assist as per the photos I was shown by the sales person a while back. Not a deal break but not impressed by the lack of transparency. While I’m not fussed about the above issues, the trigger is awful and will definitely be replacing. This will set me back at least R3,000. I found the DM4 trigger miles ahead in terms of quality and feel.
Some good points. The rifle runs well, is gassed just right and brass lands in a neat little pile at 4oclock. Groups well considering the bad trigger. I am sure ill get better groups out of it once the trigger is replaced.
